Demonstrating its commitment to continuous improvement, AeroTek is pleased to announce the installation of 2 new large de-embrittlement and stress relief ovens.
These ovens are 9ft L x 6-1/2 ft H x 6 ft W, internally, and can reach a maximum temperature of 500F.
Calibrated in accordance with NADCAP/Specification requirements, the ovens include continuous electronic monitoring of oven status and remote notification of any temperature changes beyond defined parameters. The controllers have auto-restart capabilities in the event of temporary power supply interruptions to minimize any risk to the components. The controllers also include fully digital data recording.
The final stage of implementation, installation of insulated flooring, was completed this month, to reduce temperature variation within the ovens and to reduce overall energy usage. Revised venting to enable capture of waste heat will be implemented once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
