AeroTek sponsors Community Care Durham (CCD)

In keeping with the company’s commitment to supporting its local community, AeroTek Manufacturing sponsored Community Care Durham’s (CCD) walking fundraiser event at Cullen Central Park, in Whitby, Ontario, on September 20, 2025. 

“Kilometers for Community Care Durham” was sponsored by AeroTek Manufacturing and participated by 2 AeroTek employees, Patricia Maung and Bailey Frost.

Both Patricia and Bailey completed the longest walk of 5 km.

Many different activities were also set up for all ages, including lawn games, free pancake breakfast, a silent auction, a farmer’s market stand, and a mini art gallery at the event, which brought together a record-breaking number of participants, sponsors, volunteers, auction items and activities this year. 

Attendees, including a magician as well as live music, cheered on the volunteer walkers at distance markers with fun and music. 

A scavenger hunt for everyone meant that everyone was a winner, provided they found the treasure!

Raising awareness of Mental Health and Wellness, Community Nursing, and other CCD services, the charity ran their most successful event to date.
