In response to OEM requests, AeroTek has installed a Zinc-Nickel plating line comprised of tanks 8.5 ft deep, 6 ft long and 2 ft wide, including an overhead crane with 2,000-lb. capacity. The process implemented will be Dipsol IZ as recommended by Boeing, Bell, and Bombardier, among other OEMs.
The line is of the highest quality, using state-of-the-art rectifiers, temperature controllers, exhaust scrubbing systems, heating, cooling as well as filtration and agitation. Two rectifiers enable individual control of current inside and outside of cylindrical components, such as axles and shafts.
The new line is presently being finalized and testing will begin at the end of the month.
