AeroTek, a leader in full-service metal finishing for the aerospace industry and other sectors, today announced the launch of a new company logo and updated website. The new logo captures the spirit of AeroTek’s rapid growth and continuous innovation, while the company’s redesigned website improves functionality and access to important information, while also conveying a clear sense of AeroTek’s brand and value proposition.
“AeroTek has never stopped moving ahead, investing in the future, and changing for the better,” said Jonathan Schofield, President and CEO. “In 2022, it’s time for our branding to evolve in the same way we have, and our enhanced website will provide our customers and stakeholders with a more engaging experience that reflects our commitment to transparency, collaboration and the highest standards of service.”
AeroTek was founded more than 70 years ago as part of the Dowty Group of Companies in Ajax, Ont. In 1967, Dowty employee Desmond Neuman purchased the company and renamed it Cametoid, moving the business into a purpose-built metal finishing facility in Whitby, Ont., in 1981. Neuman and his wife, Marjorie, ran the growing operation for almost 40 years, until its purchase by an executive group led by Schofield and Vera Lo, AeroTek’s Executive Vice-President, Business Development.
In the 15 years since then, AeroTek management has created a culture of customer focus, invested heavily in equipment, expanded the company’s coatings offerings and the industries it supports, and made significant strides towards environmentally friendly coatings.
“AeroTek’s new logo reflects both our proud 70-year heritage in the aerospace industry and our forward-looking vision,” said Lo. “While we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations for service and quality – just like AeroTek always has – we also embrace the future, as we continue to lead the way in coatings for the aerospace, nuclear, automotive and industrial sectors.”
