AeroTek is pleased to announce the approval by Bell Helicopter of AeroTek’s new Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) line at its Whitby facility.
Processes include:
BPS 4075 (NDT - MPI)
BPS 4089 (NDT - LPI)
AeroTek is now certified to provide NDT (MPI & LPI) testing on Bell Helicopter parts, including flight critical helicopter parts up to 8 feet long for Zinc-Nickel and 14 feet long for MPI, 5 feet for LPI.
These approvals follow AeroTek’s recent approvals for the same new NDT processes by Bombardier. These processes include:
BAPS 176-002 NDT - FPI (Type: 1; Method: A; Sensitivity Level: 3; Developer Form: A; Type of Mechanism: Manual).
BAPS 176-004 NDT - MPI, Technique: Bench; Equipment Type: Current type FWDC; Bench Model Number: D960-LXR.
AeroTek’s NDT & Zinc-Nickel processes are also all NADCAP approved.
Continuing in its long and successful tradition of servicing the aerospace industry, AeroTek Mfg has continued to increase sales and revenues, both during and after the Pandemic.
In addition to processing Bell Helicopter parts, AeroTek has been supporting the Sikorsky Helicopters supply chain, since 2007, providing more than 5 processes in the shortest lead time of 10 working days.
AeroTek looks forward to receiving more Bell Helicopter parts from the OEM and its sub tiers.
