AeroTek has begun the implementation of new NDT lines to improve its one-stop shop capabilities in chemical processing and metal finishing. The new NDT processes include:
Designed and built by QNDE, the new line will handle parts 5 feet long, however, longer can be accommodated.
Purchased from Kodiak, the MPI bench can handle parts up to 11 feet long and is located beside the FPI area under a new mezzanine designed to maximize utilization of the area where it is being installed.
Final approval has been delayed due to multiple COVID-19-related cancellations of the NADCAP audit. AeroTek anticipates that these last steps will be quickly completed once the lockdown is lifted in the first quarter 2022.
AeroTek looks forward to providing these non-destructive testing services to its customers soon.
AeroTek’s additional services enhance the company’s one-stop shop experience for the metal finishing needs of its customers.
